For our client, a globally established automotive group with strong international ambitions and sustained investment in advanced design capabilities, we are seeking a Chief Designer to lead the creative vision of their Munich-based design studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall creative vision and long-term design strategy across vehicle programs.
• Establish and evolve a distinctive and globally recognizable brand design language.
• Lead multiple design teams and ensure alignment across exterior, interior, and advanced concept development.
• Oversee major design reviews and represent the studio at executive level discussions.
• Inspire and elevate creative performance while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Ensure design intent is maintained from concept through production implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Design or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional automotive design experience with significant involvement in production vehicles.
• Proven leadership experience within an international automotive design environment.
• Strong background in premium or luxury automotive brands is highly desirable.
• Exceptional creative vision combined with deep understanding of brand positioning and global markets.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills at senior executive level.
