For our client — a globally expanding automotive group with a strong international footprint and long-term investment in design innovation — we are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their Advanced Design Studio in Munich.

This role offers direct exposure to global design leadership and the opportunity to shape the future interior identity of an internationally growing automotive brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop forward-thinking interior design concepts from early ideation through production feasibility.
• Translate brand strategy and global design direction into compelling and innovative interior proposals.
• Create high-quality sketches, renderings, and digital 3D models to communicate design intent clearly and effectively.
• Prepare interior concept presentations using advanced digital tools and virtual studio environments.
• Present design themes to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
• Drive selected themes through the CAS and clay modeling process, ensuring technical convergence at key milestones prior to engineering handover.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to align creative vision with technical requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of interior design strategy and brand language.
• Support strategic concept exploration initiatives where required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of professional automotive design experience, including exposure to production programs.
• Strong background in interior design development within OEM environments.
• Experience within premium or luxury automotive brands is highly advantageous.
• Excellent conceptual thinking and ability to develop distinctive, brand-defining design solutions.
• Advanced sketching, visualization, and digital 3D development skills (CAS experience required).
• Strong understanding of proportion, surfacing, ergonomics, detailing, and contemporary automotive trends.
• Confident presentation skills and ability to operate in an international, cross-cultural environment.
