ppA world-leading Semiconductor Company on topics including the development of silicon solutions is looking to hire a Principal Digital IC Design Engineer to join their team in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. /ppTIn this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and benchmarking embedded MCU/DSP systems, using various processor cores, and supporting product integration teams.
As a senior engineer, you'll also be a key leader, mentoring junior colleagues and driving project activities forward. /ph3What you'll do: /h3ulliArchitect, specify, and implement MCU and DSP systems, as well as hardware accelerators. /liliProvide expert consultation to product integration teams on system definition, integration, and use. /liliCoordinate with the software team on SDK development. /liliLead project activities and contribute to improving our design methodologies. /liliSupport verification and FPGA prototyping for these systems. /li /ulh3What you'll bring: /h3ulliA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. /liliAt least 10 years of experience in semiconductor product development, with a proven track record of engineering leadership. /liliExperience with embedded CPUs (e.g., ARM Cortex, DSP) and AMBA bus protocols (AHB/APB). /liliExpertise in RTL design of digital IP blocks and systems using Verilog/SystemVerilog. /liliExcellent technical document writing and English communication skills (both written and verbal). /liliEligibility to work in Switzerland. /li /ulh3Bonus points if you have experience with: /h3ulliLeadership of projects or tasks. /liliCPU/MCU (sub)system design, SystemRDL, or IP‑XACT. /liliProgramming in Python for automation or C/C++ for embedded software. /liliDesign intent (timing constraints/SDC, power intent/UPF). /liliDesign of accelerators and signal processing components. /liliRTL to GDS flow (including logic synthesis, place-and-route, STA, and power analysis). /liliAdvanced digital verification methodology (e.g., UVM). /liliKnowledge of French. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
